Good Afternoon Association Presidents and Safety Officers,
The Provincial Health Officer announced today that the current restrictions have been extended indefinitely. This means that Ringette and sport in BC is remaining in Phase 2 of the Return to Sport Guidelines and adult sport for participants aged 22 years of age and remains suspended.
The details are available on the Province – Wide Restrictions webpage and in the Joint Statement released by Minister Dix and Dr. Bonnie Henry. viaSport has released their sport -specific update regarding the PHO announcement today.
The Provincial Health Officer did state that they are working towards potentially easing restrictions on sport at the end of the month.
