News from BC Ringette:

The British Columbia Ringette Association support the National Officiating Certification Program (NOCP), providing training and certification for all ringette officials in British Columbia.
The fees for the 2009/2010 Officiating clinics are $75 for Level 1 and $75 for Level 2/3. Clinic minimum’s are set at 12 participants. The minimum age to take a Level 1 clinic is 13yrs, and a Level 2/3 is 16yrs.

To encourage ongoing officiating development, one of the initiatives supported by the Officiating Committee is to fund a program in which an officiating evaluator could be sent to various tournaments during the ringette season on a cost-sharing basis with Ringette Canada (to a maximum of $400 per event). The funding is intended to cover the costs of travel, accommodation, per diem, and an honorarium of $75.00 per day.
