were very pleased to host on behalf of BCRA the
"A" Provincial Championships
from March 11-14, 2010
A total of 18 teams competed in four divisions (U14 Tween, U16 Junior, U19 Belle, 18+ Open) for the title to become Team BC and represent the Province at the Western Canadian Ringette Championships which will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba from March 25-28, 2010.

A note about Provincials team selection
The Provincials are championships, not a year-end tournament. According to BCRA Policy there are only 5 teams allowed in each division, the top team in each league and a host team. Occassionally a league may not field a team in every division (or not enough team’s "commit to attend") and therefore a wildcard position will be allocated by BCRA. Each league is responsible for identifying to BCRA their top teams who qualify for Provincials.
