"A" Provincial Championships from
March 11-14, 2010
Five teams in four divisions (U14 Tween, U16 Junior, U19 Belle, 18+ Open) will be competing for the title to become Team BC and represent the Province at the Western Canadian Ringette Championships which will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba from March 25-28, 2010.
Our local teams are excited to be hosting the A Championships and expect to provide solid competition for other teams from the Province.
The Championships will be held at the Kin Centre and admission is free.

A note about Provincials team selection
The Provincials are championships, not a year-end tournament. According to BCRA Policy there are only 5 teams allowed in each division, the top team in each league and a host team. Occassionally a league may not field a team in every division (or not enough team’s "commit to attend") and therefore a wildcard position will be allocated by BCRA. Each league is responsible for identifying to BCRA their top teams who qualify for Provincials.
Sanctioned Event Rules:
Download and view the Sanctioned Event Rules here, to be enforced at all sanctioned events in BC. These are equal and in addition to the regular playing rules. This includes tiebreaking and mini-game rules.
