I would like to personally take this time to thank ALL of the host WRC Host Committee and volunteers for providing an absolutely awesome tournament this past week/weekend.
From the warm welcome at the opening ceremonies to the fantastic final wrap up at the closing ceremonies (and everything in between) - it was nothing short of spectacular!
It was obvious the committee strived for a home town atmosphere, since every one of your volunteers were very friendly and courteous to team staff/players during the entire week. Coming from a small town myself, it was great to feel the same way in Prince George. You should all be proud of the fact it felt so welcoming and friendly to all the teams.
I will always remember our experience there this past week and hope to see some of you guys again through our ringette lives.
Congratulations on one of the best organized and well run tournaments I have participated in!! And thank you for all the hard work, dedication and true ringette spirit your committee and volunteers provided throughout the week.
