1.    The name of the Society is Prince George Ringette Association, hereinafter referred to as "The Association".

2.    The purposes of the Association are:

a)    To promote and encourage the development of and interest in the sport of Ringette for its members and others.
b)    To provide instruction in the sport of Ringette in all its forms and to foster, maintain, and develop activities in connection therewith.
c)    To organize, develop, and assist in the promotion and conduct of Ringette in accordance with procedures and regulations adopted by Ringette Canada and the British Columbia Ringette Association.
d)    To foster goodwill and sportsmanship between and among members of the Association and members of the community in which the activities of the Association are to be carried out.
e)    To do any such further acts or things or execute such deeds, assurances, or undertakings as will effectually assist in the furtherance of the objectives of the Association.

3.    The Association shall operate without financial gain to its members and any profits or accretions to the Association shall be used to promote the objectives of the Association. This provision of the Constitution shall be unalterable.

4.    The Association shall be affiliated with Ringette Canada and the British Columbia Ringette Association.  This provision of the Constitution shall be unalterable.

5.    Upon winding up or dissolution of the Association, any assets of the Association remaining after the satisfaction of its debts and liabilities shall be given or transferred to the British Columbia Ringette Association; and insofar as effect cannot be given to the foregoing provision, then such funds shall be given or transferred to some other charitable organization, charitable trust, or charitable corporation, as may be determined by members at the time of winding up or dissolution. This provision of the Constitution shall be unalterable.
