Prince George Ringette Association

Hostess Information

"Catch the Spirit"

Prince George Ringette Association will provide a Hostess for each of the teams participating in the Western Canadian Ringette Championships.

  • Novice, Petite and Tween level players will be assigned as Hostesses to each team thus providing these young athletes the opportunity to be part of a higher level of ringette and the general excitement that the four days will entail.
  • It is our hope that each team can socialize and provide a positive experience for their young Hostesses.
  • An Adult Ambassador (if possible) will also be there as a support person for the Hostess.
  • Hostesses will be encouraged to sit with their team’s parents and fans during games. (Hostesses will not be allowed on the bench).
  • Hostesses will be introduced to their team at registration prior to the Opening Ceremonies.

Duties of the Team are:

  • Bring an extra Jersey for the Hostess to wear during games and the opening ceremonies. (Jerseys will be returned to you at the end of the competition)
  • Teams are encouraged to provide their Hostess with a gift of appreciation for their time commitment.
  • Teams to include a banquet ticket for the Hostess in the team numbers for the closing ceremonies.
  • Depending on personal preference and game schedule, Hostesses may be included in team activities, parties or accompany teams back and forth to hotels as appropriate.
