"Catch the Spirit" |
Prince George Ringette Association will provide a Hostess for each of the teams participating in the Western Canadian Ringette Championships.
- Novice, Petite and Tween level players will be assigned as Hostesses to each team thus providing these young athletes the opportunity to be part of a higher level of ringette and the general excitement that the four days will entail.
- It is our hope that each team can socialize and provide a positive experience for their young Hostesses.
- An Adult Ambassador (if possible) will also be there as a support person for the Hostess.
- Hostesses will be encouraged to sit with their team’s parents and fans during games. (Hostesses will not be allowed on the bench).
- Hostesses will be introduced to their team at registration prior to the Opening Ceremonies.
Duties of the Team are:
- Bring an extra Jersey for the Hostess to wear during games and the opening ceremonies. (Jerseys will be returned to you at the end of the competition)
- Teams are encouraged to provide their Hostess with a gift of appreciation for their time commitment.
- Teams to include a banquet ticket for the Hostess in the team numbers for the closing ceremonies.
- Depending on personal preference and game schedule, Hostesses may be included in team activities, parties or accompany teams back and forth to hotels as appropriate.
