1998/1999 Season:
The Association has increased its membership by 30%, having a team in all seven divisions, including an intermediate/ladies team for the first time in over 15 years. The Association is growing and with the Nationals 2000 coming to our city, we should see an increase in registration for the next season as well.
Four teams qualified for a berth to the Provincial B’s: Petite, Tween, Junior and Deb. All teams represented the Association very well and should be proud of their efforts and accomplishments during the season. Five local players made the cut on the Northern League Tween All-Star team.
The Association would like to congratulate Rudy Zellman in receiving the City of Prince George’s Recreation Award of Merit, for the many years of volunteerism and dedication to the Association.
We had a very successful year promoting ringette in the community: Pictures of various teams were in the local newspapers, such as the Novices at the Billy Barker Tournament in Quesnel, and pictures of Tweens, Petites, Bunnies and Belles from the Joy Hoffman tournament. An interview with Bill on the 2000 Nationals and with Chris about the intermediate/ladies team. We had a booth at the Rec Mart in April promoting Ringette. The Bunnies and Tweens skated at the Cougars games in between periods, and also a booth was setup to promote our game. We had our first-ever ringette camp in August hosted by Calgary Ringette Acadamy. We also had the local Cable Company run three hours of live coverage of the 1999 Ringette nationals in April.
The only fundraising event for this year was the Fishing Derby in early March. It was well attended, we sold 137 tickets for fishing and the net profit was donated to the Nationals 2000 event. We would like to thank all of our volunteers, officials and sponsors for supporting our game.

1997/1998 Season: We had six teams representing the Association in all age group, with an increase in registration by 20 players. Two teams qualified for a berth for the Provincial B’s and two for the Provincial C’s. The teams have done very well this year, travelling out-of-town for tournaments in Alberta, and the Okanagan region. The Bunnies and Novices went to the “Tim Hortons Tournament of Nations in Edmonton” and represented the Association with great success and had lots of fun. The Association would like to congratulate the Petite Team for winning the Provincial "C" Title in Nanaimo.
We would like to thank all of our volunteers, officials, sponsors and supporters of ringette.
